Flash Dryers

A screen printing flash dryer (or "flash cure unit") is a piece of equipment used in screen printing to quickly partially cure or gel the ink between printing colors, especially in multi-color designs.

Why it's important:

• Prevents color bleeding or smudging when printing multiple layers.

• Helps with registration (alignment) by locking the first layers in place.

• Essential when printing light colors over dark, so the underbase layer is gelled before adding the top colors.
