Non-phthalate plastisol base formulated for creating durable custom screen printing colors, providing dependable print performance, smooth ink handling, and versatility for production textile printing.

Characteristics

Rutland EL0750 NPT Endurance Base is a non-phthalate plastisol base designed for use in professional textile screen printing applications. It provides printers with a versatile foundation for producing custom colors while maintaining consistent viscosity, printability, and production performance.

Endurance Base can be combined with compatible Rutland color concentrates or pigments to create a wide range of finished plastisol colors. Its balanced rheology helps the mixed ink shear smoothly through the screen while maintaining good body on press, making it suitable for both manual and automatic screen printing operations.

As part of Rutland's non-phthalate plastisol ink technology, EL0750 is intended for shops that require dependable production inks while working within modern restricted-substance requirements. Rutland's current C3 system documentation identifies its inks and bases as non-phthalate and internationally compliant while recommending application-specific testing.

Usage Tips ▼
  • Mix EL0750 NPT Endurance Base thoroughly before adding compatible color concentrates, pigments, or modifiers.
  • Use clean mixing containers, blades, and utensils to help prevent contamination of the finished ink.
  • Confirm the appropriate pigment-loading ratio for the specific Rutland colorant system being used.
  • Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended colorant concentration.
  • Mix thoroughly until the colorant is completely and uniformly incorporated into the base.
  • Record mixing ratios and formulas when producing repeat colors for future production runs.
  • Test the finished ink on the actual garment before beginning production.
  • Verify proper cure throughout the complete ink deposit.
  • Use additional caution when printing polyester and polyester blends because garment dyes may migrate into the printed ink.
  • For polyester-containing garments, use an appropriate low-bleed white or barrier base when required.
  • Rutland's current C3 guidance recommends a low-bleed white for poly/cotton blends and a barrier base for 100% polyester applications.
Important Printing Information ▼

Rutland EL0750 NPT Endurance Base is a mixing base intended for use with compatible Rutland color concentrates, pigments, and ink-system components. The performance of the finished ink will depend on the colorant system, pigment loading, additives, garment, ink deposit, and curing conditions used.

Always confirm the recommended pigment-loading ratio for the specific Rutland colorant system being used. Excessive pigment or modifier additions can affect viscosity, opacity, printability, curing, and the overall performance of the finished ink.

Current Rutland C3 system guidance specifies a cure temperature of approximately 320°F (160°C). Cure requirements should be confirmed for the complete ink formulation being used, and the entire ink deposit must reach the required cure temperature.

Polyester and polyester-blend garments should be tested for dye migration before production. An appropriate low-bleed white may be required for poly/cotton blends, while a compatible barrier base may be necessary for more aggressive 100% polyester fabrics.

Always perform application-specific testing on the actual garment and verify color, adhesion, cure, dye migration, and wash durability before beginning a full production run.
